The ASL 101 course - in its entirety - contains 48 lessons and is based on the curriculum used at California State University. ASLasl divides the 48 lessons into "parts" (i.e. ASL 101 Part 1; ASL 101 Part 2, etc....). .
Goals:
Students will learn how to memorize vocabulary based on handshapes rather than rote memory.
Students will produce basic signs in ASL
Students will apply signing knowledge to provide visual reports
