 What You Need to Know:

1.  Classes will meet ONLINE via video conferencing due to COVID-19.  

2.  Class information will be sent to the email address you use to pay with PayPal.


3.  Classes are for adults/teens who have complete 8th grade English grammar.


4. You do NOT need to have taken Part 1 if you feel your starting level is Part 2


5.  ASL 101 classes are based on a college-level curriculum (no CEUs available however) with the signature ASLasl touch to learning signed vocabulary.

  • ASL 101 Foundations:  Jan 19 - Mar 16, 2021

    If you need to miss a video meet-up or if you do not have the technology to participate live, know that they are recorded so that you can view later if you wish.

    PRE-requisite:  YOU NEED TO BE ABLE TO MUDDLETHROUGH THE MANUAL ALPAHBET (not perfectly...but know 90% of the letters)  If not, consider enrolling in Community ASL class instead.


    Due to COVID-19, this class will have an online format. This class meets at 7:00 pm (CST) on these dates: January 26; February 2, 9, 16, 23: March 2, 9.


    The first lesson on January 19 is emailed to you to work through in your own time.  The last lesson on March 16 is reserved for testing.

    Exact day and time we meet will be determined by majority vote.  Upon registration, you will be emailed a link to let me know the best time/days for you to participate in our video meet-ups.

  • ASL 101 PART 2:  2021

    ****ASL 101 Part 1 is NOT necessarily a pre-requisite.****

    If you can introduce yourself in sign and sign about your parents/siblings, then this might be the starting level for you.  

     

    Due to COVID-19, this class will have an online format. We will video meet-ups 6 times between this date range:  Jan 17 - Mar 20, 2021. 

    Exact day and time we meet will be determined by majority vote.  Upon registration, you will be emailed a link to let me know the best time/days for you to participate in our video meet-ups.
